The Schneiberg Museum focuses on the study of Chinese Imperial carpets dating to the Qing dynasty; it has also set up ARCHIVES, a documentation center and a laboratory which, thanks to Enea, the Casaccia Research Center, examines the chemical composition of carpets with the newest XRF (X Ray Fluorescence) techniques.
The Museum also collaborates with the Art Loss Register in London to investigate the origin and provenance of the carpets.
